Move Over to Protect Our Emergency Responders

Every day emergency responders risk their lives when operating by the side of the highway. To protect them the U.S. has enacted move over laws. Laws that require motorists to change lanes or reduce speed upon sighting emergency personnel operating by the side of the road. These laws keep both driver and operator safe, reduce the risks of accidents and fatalities, and ensuring safety for all.

Unfortunately, an estimated 200 responders are struck and killed by cars every year because drivers fail to comply. Mostly this is due to a lack of awareness of the law's existence. At Helena Honda, we want to make people aware. We value the service our emergency responders provide and wish to keep them safe. So, remember move over laws the next time you are on the highway and help Helena Honda spread the word. Together we can keep everyone safe and protected on the open road.
